Gratitude

There is something incredible about a person that will reach out, without being asked, and say, “I support you. I believe in what you do. I will help,” and then actually do it expecting nothing in return.

It is an act so small and unassuming that its transformative power often goes unacknowledged and unappreciated. But it is precisely that act that makes our lives and our world possible. It is what transforms us from dispersed, individual lone nuts into that all important small group of thoughtful, committed people. And we all know what that is capable of.

So, to you, the other lone nuts just crazy enough to believe in us—thank you for your support, for your belief, for your help. We could not do it without you.

Heather and I are so overwhelmed by the current outpouring of support and the overwhelming desire of so many of you to spread the word about how much we raised for charity so that the people at Glee and Fox know just how much we value and understand the larger societal importance of Kurt and Blaine’s relationship and desire to see their scripted moments, large and small, play out on screen.

Heather and I want to take this moment to thank every single one of the 100+ Klainers that pledged and donated. We will be updating our donor page with your names. The auction was hotly contested came down to the wire. If it were not for each and every one of you, we would not have won.

We would also like to thank every Klainer that saw our signal boosts and liked or reblogged. You helped us spread the word and every donation was a direct result of someone following the links in those posts and deciding to give.

Thank you to every single Klainer that offered to help in some way or gave us friendly advice.

We could not have done this without you.

For a few Klainers, a special thanks is in order:

• To Staceysthings who jumped in with both feet, personally donating $100 and helped us to publicize Project Angel Food, the incredible charity that will be the recipient of the $4,200 we raised.
