Getting to 500k: How You Can Help
In exchange for The Box Scene, Ryan Murphy wants 500k Twitter followers. After all we’ve done, while frustrating, this is easy. Here’s how you can help!
1. FOLLOW RYAN MURPHY ON TWITTER
2. Do it again! And again! And Again!
- You can make as many twitter accounts as you want using only one gmail account, using gmail aliases.
(1) Let’s pretend your gmail address is klainelove@gmail.com
(2) Create a new account on twitter. Use the email address klainelove+twitter1@gmail.com (the alias after the “+” can be anything you want) and whatever password you want.
(3) Add people (@MrRPMurphy).
(4) Do it again. Make a new twitter account. klainelove+twitter2@gmail.com
(5) Do it as many times as you want.
- Get an email address quick and easy at gmail.com
3. Ask your friends and family
- If you’re a hardcore Klainer, they know how much this means to you (if they don’t, briefly explain)
- If they love you (which they do), one click on Twitter won’t matter to them
4. Post on your Facebook
- Ask everyone that follows you to take a second and follow @MrRPMurphy on Twitter.
- Here’s the post I made:
- “If you know me at all or are reading this, please follow @MrRPMurphy on Twitter. My friends and I raised $14k for charity to win a script to read a cut scene. He’s the creator & writer of the show, heard about our effort, and has committed to release the actual scene if he gets 500,000 followers. You can unfollow him as soon as the scene is out. Please, it would mean a lot to me.”
- At least go to the Glee Facebook page and make a post rallying other fans
Go, go, go, go, go!
